Madeline 10 weeks

Baby girl Maddie is 10 weeks old this week and doing well. She's a little under the weather with a double ear infection but in good spirits. After numerous trips to the Dr. this week, she is finally on antibiotics and well on the mend. We've got to get her all better for her baptizm this weekend!

Happy Halloween

Check out our little goblins dressed up for Halloween! Dragon Zachary and Monkey Madeline made the rounds this evening while collecting candy and spooking the neighbors! We had so much fun. Zach was a little reluctant to get his costume on but once he realized that was his ticket to get him loads of chocolate, he went along with no problem! Carl, Jess and Little Carl came along as well as Clair and John! We had a really fun time!

Madeline 9 weeks

We can't believe our baby girl is already 9 weeks old! She had her 2 month check-up today. She is weighing in at 12 pounds and 24 inches tall. Her Dr. says Madeline is doing great! We sure think so...and she is so darn cute!!!!

Pumpkin Patch

We spent some time yesterday afternoon at the pumpkin patch with Zachary and Madeline. It was so much fun. Zachary led us through the corn maze and rang the bell when we finished. We went on a hayride, talked to the goats, horse and roosters and we even picked out our very own pumpkins!

We had the pleasure of attending my cousin Marshall's wedding on Oct 20th. The weather was so beautiful for the outside ceremony and it was nice to introduce Madeline to my Dad's side of the family. Zachary had a good time, too!

It was very cute today when Zachary realized how the camera worked. He was so intrigued that I let him take a few...here are the results! Not bad for his first time!

Over the river and through the woods, to grandmommy and granddaddy's house we went!

Dave was in England last week (LUCKY HIM!!) so Zach, Maddie and I headed west to VA to Grandmommy and Granddaddy's house for the week! We had a great time!

After looking at pictures of Zachary as a little baby and then pictures of Madeline...we definitely can see the resemblance!

After a morning of chores, we rewarded ourselves with a trip to Sotterly Plantation (about 10 minutes north of us) for an afternoon of fun at the Riverfest Wine Festival. We ran into our friends Jennifer and John and their beautiful baby, Reed (who is 4 days younger than Maddie) and enjoyed a bottle of wine with them while catching up! It was a beautiful day and we all had a good time!

If we've said it once in the last few days, we've said it a million times..."The second baby really isn't as hard as the first" and boy do we mean it!!! Here are some pictures of us just hanging out at home :).

With October 3rd being the 10th anniversary of my gmom's death, we decided to go to Arlington National Cemetary to put flowers at her grave. Mom and Dad met us there and then we headed downtown for some fun on the mall! It was a beautiful day!!!!! This was Madeline's first trip to the big city :) and she seemed to have a good day.
