I had the pleasure of spending Elena's 5th, 6th and 7th days in this world with her and her family. Her mommy is my BFF and has been for almost 25 years!
I snapped this picture (along with a mere 200 more) for her mommy and daddy.
She is an angel and I am so happy she is here!

The fish have died. Yep, all 3 of them. It was awful. It looked like a crime scene or a horror film. Dead fish bodies floating in the water. And because I am the only one who took care of them, I am the only one who is sad.

But alas, we now have another group of fish. Not naming them this time (well at least not me) and hoping for longer than 2 months.

Whoever said fish were easy to take care of, lied!!!!!

I love Springtime in Southern Maryland.......

it was sunny so we headed over to Solomons for a little photo shoot and some good old fashioned Vitamin D!

The snail has died. "We" (which should mean me and Zachary but really just means me) have taken such good care of the fish and snail and it was a bummer to see Pluto go. Ok, not really. He/she freaked me out. So, off to Petco I go this morning to get another one before a little someone notices it's gone.

Guess where we went today......

luckily she didn't need stitches!!!!

Field Trip

Zachary and I went to CiCi's Pizza for a field trip today with his class. It was a lot of fun. He got to tour the facility and learn all about pizza making from start to finish. He even got to make his own pizza and then eat it with his friends!! Lots of fun!
